Vitax Nippon Wasp Nest Destroyer Foam 300ml VTXWNDF300
For the control of wasps in and around the home.
Specifically designed powerful aerosol that will destroy a wasp’s nest from a distance of over 3m. The spray foams up instantly to thoroughly wet the treated nest. Fast acting with rapid effect on contact.
Contains permethrin and tetramethrin.
Apply at the first signs of wasp activity.
How to Use:
Spray in early morning or late evening when the wasps are in the nest. Hold the can upright 3m away from the nest and spray in 3 second bursts to thoroughly wet the nest.
Pay particular attention to the nest entrance or where the wasps are seen entering and leaving.
A repeat application may be required where the entrance is not readily accessible.
Note: If using on painted surfaces, test before use for discolouration before carrying out overall application.
Nippon Wasp Nest Destroyer produces a temporary foam coating on the target surface. This would normally disperse after a few minutes.

Good for open nests,

The first time I used it (this foam product) was for a wasp nest about the size of a football. The entire thing was out in the open, and we just essentially emptied the can on to it. Next day, no more wasps. Brilliant.
The second time was for a nest built in to a wall. We could not see the nest, but could see hundreds of wasps flying into and out of it each day. We jetted the entire contents of the can into the opening they were using as their entrance, and any other gaps in the wall we could see. It killed a lot of the wasps, but within a few hours we could see that quite a few remained, and within four days, the nest seemed as active as it had ever been. So we bought another can (the third usage referred to in the intro). Same result. Finally I bought a powder that you spray into the holes – it worked immediately, and all the wasps seemed to be killed.
As far as we can work out, a lot of the product was just foaming up as soon as it hit the wall, preventing further product from getting into the nest. We did not have this problem with the powder, hence why it was so much more effective.
So, good for a nest that’s out in the open, but not so good if you need to get into deep nooks and crannies.
